How we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information.

SA Classes Inc. ("SA Classes", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of students, parents and visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law.
Information you provide: when you submit our contact or enrollment forms, book a consultation, enroll a student, or communicate with us, we may collect: the student's and parent/guardian's name, email address, phone number, the student's grade and school, the course or subject of interest, and any message or notes you provide. If you become a paying client, we also keep enrollment, attendance, evaluation and payment records.
Information collected automatically: when you use the website we may collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page, primarily through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
Payment information: if online payment is offered, card details are processed by a third-party payment provider (e.g. Stripe) — we do not store full card numbers on our servers. (confirm provider)
We collect, use and disclose personal information with your consent, except where permitted or required by law. When you submit an enquiry or enrollment, you consent to us using your information to respond and provide the requested service. You may withdraw your consent at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions) by contacting us — see Section 12.
Our services are for Grade 9–12 students, many of whom are under the age of majority. Enrollment and related consents are provided by a parent or legal guardian. We collect only the student information reasonably needed to deliver tutoring, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without parental/guardian involvement.
We use necessary cookies to operate the site. To help us improve performance, analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymization) are enabled by default when you continue browsing after seeing our cookie notice. You can opt out at any time — choose "Customize choices" on the notice, or use the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer, and we will disable non-essential cookies. Full details and the complete list of cookies are in our Cookie Policy. When you make or change a choice, we record it (date, choice, and technical details such as IP address) as proof of consent.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations, such as: website hosting, email delivery, analytics (Google), and payment processing. These providers may process data outside Canada (for example, in the United States); where that occurs, your information may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We send commercial electronic messages (email, and SMS/WhatsApp where you provide a number and consent) only with your consent (express or implied, such as an existing enquiry or client relationship). Every marketing message identifies us and includes a simple way to unsubscribe. You can opt out at any time and we will honour your request promptly.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to maintain student/payment records, and to meet legal and accounting requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information — including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and limiting access to authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond appropriately to any incident.
Subject to legal limits, you may: access the personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate; withdraw consent; and ask us to delete information we no longer need. To make a request, contact us (Section 12). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
